Help & FAQ
Answers to common Klinic One questions
Learn how symptom checking, telemedicine, and verification work so you can get the most out of Klinic One.
Symptom checker
How does the AI symptom checker work?
Our symptom checker uses structured clinical questions and decision trees powered by AI to help you understand your symptoms. It does not provide a diagnosis, but suggests possible causes and when to seek care.
Symptom checker
Can I rely on the symptom checker instead of seeing a doctor?
No. The checker is designed as a decision-support tool, not a replacement for a licensed clinician. It can help you decide whether to self-manage, book a virtual visit, or seek urgent in-person care.
Security & privacy
Is my health information secure?
Yes. All data in Klinic One is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow strict access controls and privacy practices aligned with HIPAA principles, and we never sell your personal health information.
Security & privacy
Who can see my consultation notes?
Your notes are visible to you and the clinicians involved in your care. Internal support teams may access limited information only when needed to troubleshoot issues, following strict confidentiality policies.
Consultations
How do I book a consultation?
You can browse providers by specialty, select a time that works for you, and confirm the visit in just a few steps. We’ll send you reminders and a secure link to join by video or chat.
Consultations
Can I use Klinic One for emergencies?
No. Klinic One is not an emergency service. If you think you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (such as 911) or go to the nearest emergency department.
KYC & verification
Why do I need to complete KYC verification?
KYC (Know Your Customer) helps us confirm your identity and reduce fraud. For clinicians, additional credential verification is required so patients can be confident they’re seeing licensed professionals.
Billing & coverage
Are telemedicine visits covered by insurance?
Coverage differs by insurer and plan. Some visits may be reimbursable as telehealth. We recommend checking with your insurance provider or benefits administrator for details.
